AI Server Revenue Estimated to Increase by 40% this Year: Foxconn

Foxconn recently revealed operational data, highlighting the growing importance of AI servers in response to the increasing adoption of generative AI applications, as reported by Economic Daily News on March 19. The demand for AI servers is not only rising among CSP (Cloud Service Provider) clients but also brand customers, indicating increased market visibility for this technology. Key to AI server design is the integration of GPUs (Graphics Processing Units), with efforts focused on enhancing GPU performance and driving demand for high-speed switches and liquid cooling technology.

According to MIC (Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute), global server shipment volume is projected to reach 13.48 million units in 2024, with AI servers expected to account for 16.2% of the total. Foxconn anticipates triple-digit year-on-year growth rates for GPU modules in AI servers this year, with AI server revenue forecasted to surge by over 40%. Moreover, the company's AI server products are predicted to contribute to over 40% of the overall server revenue.
